Double Take: Photographs from the Artbank Collection shows recent acquisitions alongside collection works. The exhibition examines the breadth of photographic practice in Australian art, ranging from traditional photography to conceptual experiments in the darkroom.
Presented as pairs of artists whose works share commonalities or have worked similar ground, Double Take also highlights these communities of artists that share methods and interests through an interplay of images. On the walls you will see a selection of photographs from the Artbank Collection’s 40-year history.
